What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we process it with your consent, or on another legal basis; we only require the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us; we don’t sell it to third parties; and we only use it as this Privacy Statement describes. We are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No matter where you are, where you live, or what your citizenship is, we provide a high standard of privacy protection to all our users around the world, regardless of their country of origin or location.

In order to provide you with the services you require, we will collect personal information about you gathered during registration and communication (both written and verbal). This may include your name, address, email, phone number and other details relevant to the service(s) that are of interest to you. We may supplement the information that you provide with other information that we obtain from our dealings with you or which we receive from other organisations, such as other companies in our group.

We treat any information you choose to share with us during your consultation with us as strictly confidential. It will be shared within the Institute of Smoking Cessation for follow up purposes. Anything said during the consultation is confidential, unless the advisor is concerned that there might be harm to yourself or other people. In this case, they would need to break confidentiality and discuss the concern with their manager, however the advisor will make you aware that this is happening.
